Week 11-12

Group Work & Solo Feasibility Review

Working towards our final review of Semester 1, we tried hard to ensure that our ideas and thread of thinking were communicated as effectively as possible. We refined the group presentation with the addition of the 'Master Diagram' pin-up, detailing the breakdown of themes like AI, healthcare, land management etc. into each individual project. We received some very encouraging, constructive feedback which pushed us to continue refining and polishing our work.

Our solo work had been put on the back burner for a while, so we also worked individually for a few days to progress these projects. Still in the beginning stages, this was a feasibility review debuting our early ideas to a guest tutor that hadn't seen them before. We received guidance on how we might progress our individual work after the group presentation.

At the end of week 12 we got an opportunity to speak with ENT surgeon Rodney Mountain, who offered us a fresh perspective and detailed feedback as someone with extensive experience of the healthcare sector. This proved to be extremely useful for those of us working with healthcare-related projects, as he was able to provide essential clarity and direction for us to further define our briefs.
