The Survey

OUR SURVEY
As part of our research, d4d sent a survey around the architecture department inquiring into the use of AI.
The use of AI in the creative industry is a hot topic. Billionaire investors like Sam Altman promise that AI will improve lives by doing the jobs we don't want, while showcasing its ability to write and produce "art" at a superhuman speed.
Before AI, the previous "Promethean Moment" in the architectural industry was the introduction of CAD software which negated the need for days spent labouring over a drawing board. Since the introduction of CAD the efficiency and speed of architectural design has increased exponentially. With the introduction of AI it is entirely possible this may be taken even further.
